Summer is almost here!
As the school year comes to an end and children start heading off to camp, they’ll be meeting plenty of new friends and create memories to last a lifetime.
This group of girls from Camp Timber Tops wanted to start making those memories together from day one – they came to Mermaid Art Studios for a group ice breaker session they’ll never forget!
The girls decided to paint a portrait of one of their favorite camp pastimes: canoeing on the lake in the Poconos.
Each artist was able to express herself by adding plants, trees, cabins, and as many mountains as she wanted to her image. It’s amazing to see how everyone had their own very different perspective of this one activity!
By the end of the day, these young artists had captured the perfect image of a favorite memory, while making new memories to cherish with their newfound friends!
Art is one of the best ways to bring a group together and build lasting friendships. If you’re looking for an original ice breaker idea for your camp group or summer club, we’ve got what you’re searching for!
