Each session has a different theme. Session 1:

Clay Safari Adventure

Theme: Wild animals from around the world
Focus: Building basic forms, adding texture, hand painting

Weekly Plan:

  • Week 1: Roll, pinch, and coil to create a “Safari Animal Friend” (lion, giraffe, elephant, etc.).
  • Week 2: Add details — fur, spots, tusks, ears — using texture tools.
  • Week 3: Make a mini clay habitat (tree, rock, or grass mound).
  • Week 4: Underglazing the animals in bright safari colors.
  • Week 5: Create tiny safari footprints & paint habitat pieces.
  • Week 6: Glaze & assemble mini safari scene to take home.
