Our Latest Claymation Creation: Rainbow Tree

During a recent Claymation workshop at Mermaid Art Studios, students worked together to create “Rainbow Tree”.

The plan was to make a short stop motion animation showing a sprout growing into a full-grown tree.

Students all made colored leaves of different sizes, and between photographs we replaced smaller leaves with larger leaves and watched the tree grow.
